PROPERTY FROM AN AMERICAN PRIVATE COLLECTION THREE EMBROIDERED SILK TEXTILESRepublic period prising a child's robe of red silk brocade woven with flower sprays, trimmed with white silk bands embroidered with pleasant floral designs; a black silk apron built with panels decorated with embroidered figures, flowers, and butterflies, trimmed with white silk bands embroidered with cranes and flowers; and a pale yellow-ground vertical panel worked in colorful satin stitches with a large flower-and-rock medallion surrounded by additional leafy flower branches.
