潘天寿，原名天授，字大颐，号寿者，别署阿寿、懒道人、雷婆头峰寿者等。浙江宁海人。擅画花鸟、山水，兼善指画，亦能书法、诗词、篆刻。曾任国立西湖艺术院中国画系主任、教授，国立西湖艺专校长，浙江美术学院（今中国美术学院）院长，中国美术家协会副主席，西泠印社副社长等。
款识：曾见苦瓜和尚本，即背拟之。正箴先生雅属。癸丑冬，天授。
