大吉瓶，瓶式之一，因器身呈扁葫芦形、似一“吉”子而得名。该瓶采用中国的特种工艺“掐丝珐琅”，又名“景泰蓝”，这种工艺在元代从阿拉伯地区传入中国的。其制作方法是用柔软的细扁铜丝做线条，在铜制的胎上捏出各种图案花纹，然后把珐琅质的色釉填充在花纹内烧制而成。此壁瓶在葫芦开光处施以蓝色珐琅质并嵌出大吉二字。装饰华贵，工艺精湛，寓意“大吉大利”、“福寿安康”
