此炉圆口开阔，身形较高，圆唇外侈，口沿双耳直立，其势外倾，线条粗浑韧劲，耳洞城门半孔状。颈部缓收，扁腹圆润，底近平整，下具三乳足，亦壮硕有佳，据地有力，富沉稳之姿。炉身身熟栗色泽，青韵悠然，包浆均润。炉底“宣德”二字，铸后精修，结字方正严谨，字风沉稳，笔画粗韧，乃清早期所流行的榜书风格，也称擘窠大字。
