此盒银板衬木胎做成，厚重坚固，盖子盝顶式，与盒体由转轴连接，平整美观。除底面外，均有条形的间隔开来的水波纹作装饰，平淡无奇，但极其素雅。盖子上方正中，嵌透雕龙纹白玉牌饰，底层缠枝花草，花朵、鸟雀、蝙蝠映衬下的游龙驰骋其上。这片玉件儿为盒子增色许多。盖子口沿焊接波浪形扳手，便于开启。它是收纳黄金细软的首选。
