Painter, illustrator and sculptor Luis Felipe Usabal, trained in the academies of Valencia, Madrid, Paris, Rome and Munich. He worked in Berlin as a contributor to various satirical magazines and was a member of the Association of German Illustrators. He then worked in the United States, where he excelled as a film poster artist and held an anthological exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum in New York (1932). In 1936 he was made a member of the Academy of San Carlos. He is represented at the Museo de Bellas Artes in Valencia.
