提要：此经首尾俱全，品相完美，卷前扉画刊刻精美。碛砂藏历代被人称道的就是它在每函卷首所附的扉画，据统计，共有十余种样式，此爲其中一种。据国家图书馆李际宁先生考证：《碛砂藏》于南宋嘉定九年（1216年）开雕于平江府（今苏州）碛砂延圣寺，到元英宗至治二年（1322年）刊刻完成，历时一百零六年。据《通鉴总类》，共591函6362卷，辑录两晋至宋代佛经1521种。千字文始于“天”字（编号1号），终于“烦”字（591号）。此藏1931年始被发现，此册千字文编号为“恃三”，经文每版五页，共计十纸。碛砂藏卷前带版画者极稀，识者宝之。
