钵圆体，口微内敛，口沿平齐，底部浑圆如釜。器型饱满，弧度流畅，是钵器的典型器。其流线造型与绝佳的比例，令此钵所产生的韵律感，带来强烈的美感享受。 钵，是钵多罗的略称，僧徒之食器。钵实际上也代表一种传承，即衣钵相传。《旧唐书•方伎传•神秀》：昔后魏末，有僧达摩者，本天竺王子，以护国出家，入南海，得禅宗妙法，云自释迦相传，有衣钵为记，世相付授。 钵身刻铭，为《摩诃般若波罗蜜多心经》之句：羯谛羯谛，波罗羯谛。
