两件玉璜以青玉制成，形制相同，大小相仿，呈扁平状，纹饰极其特殊。玉璜中间雕饰扭绳纹方格，将主题纹饰分为左右两部分，两边各饰两组变体蟠虺纹，形成左右对称的纹饰布局。蟠虺纹以双阴线刻画，相互勾连而又奇特，具有春秋时期风格。此玉璜经久盘玩，红沁凝厚，宝光莹润。蟠虺纹，又称“蛇纹”，汉族传统寓意纹样，青铜器纹饰之一，玉器上亦常见。以盘曲的小蛇（虺）的形象，构成几何图形。有的作二方连续排列，有的构成四方连续纹样，盛行于春秋战国时期。此玉璜纹饰典型，保存完好，且成对出现，留存至今，实属难得。
