FUSET I GRAU rigid bracelet in 18kt yellow gold, 1930's. With an oval medallion in patinated ivory and tortoiseshell with relief depicting a character in profile with a diamond cap. Delicate gold work with festoons, garlands and bands decorate the body of the bracelet. Tongue clasp with safety chain. Signed.Weight: 21.4 gr.Measurements: 6.5 cm (diameter); 3.5 cm (front).Fuset y Grau is an important Catalan jeweller-craftsman of the early 20th century. Together with Masriera, he is one of the main representatives of Spanish Modernism as far as jewellery is concerned. Fuset was a true artist, who distinguished himself in the making of his pieces by the continuous use of ivory, delicate pearls and stones of intense colour, as well as the use of yellow gold engraved in diverse and decorative forms of extraordinary workmanship.
