A photocopy of the original receipt is available with this lot.There are some marks, scratches, knocks, chips and abrasions consistent with age and use.Some sun fading variably to the back and top. Variable colouring possibly also in part to rubbing and aging to staining.There are losses and restorations including: a chip to the stalk; chips to the wood adjacent to the hinge area; a turning hole to the centre of the base; the lining is flaked and worn; the paper base worn.There is no key, the lock is open.There is some evidence of worm.Please refer to the additional photographs as a visual reference of condition.
