A George III mahogany framed bergère settee, the moulded frame with carved scroll handrests, on tapering legs and castors, height 94cm, width 179cm, depth 83cm (faults). Note: formerly from the Ditchling home of the eminent British artist Sir Frank Brangwyn RA. The settee can be seen in a photograph of the artist in his studio, circa 1930.
