The exterior of this elegant bowl is decorated with auspicious famille rose cloud patterns, while the interior features a blue and white 'Niulang and Zhinü' emblem surrounded by four auspicious clouds. The vibrancy of the famille rose exterior complements the clean blue and white interior - a unique color combination. On the bottom is a six-character blue and white Daoguang seal mark. During the Qing dynasty, imperial kilns had strict regulations surrounding the decoration of artifacts, and certain patterns were specific to different times of the year. These designs were received from the palace, and occasionally, even directly from the emperor. This bowl was produced to be used during the Qixi (Tanabata) Festival. The beautiful and auspicious design is unique, establishing it as a rare festival ware.

本件拍品撇口，深弧腹，小圈足。碗外壁爲粉彩喜鵲祥雲紋，內壁碗心爲青花牛郎織女圖紋，四朵祥雲圍繞其中。碗內青花紋飾清新淡雅，外壁粉彩色彩繽紛，一內一外，一素一豔，交相呼應，頗有意趣。底部青花款“大清道光年制”六字三行篆書款。當時清宮對官窯器的紋飾主題按不同時節有嚴格規定，必須按照大內送來的圖樣與皇帝旨意而設計，此碗所繪鵲橋相會圖，就是其中一款，內外紋飾皆寓意吉祥如意，爲道光七夕時令用器，賞心悅目，較爲少見。
