This small, delicate vase depicts a solitary scene of a man fishing at a cold river, with a lone tower and far mountains in the distance, masked by a veil of misty snow. He Xuren cleverly applied the gray white famille rose glazing as the dominant color to match the coldness of snow, expressing a realistic and well-composed snowy landscape.

此瓶所繪雪景意境寂寥空闊，峯巒疊嶂，亭臺樓閣，寒江獨釣，盡在飄渺的雲雪之中。世人曾評價何許人的雪景：“仰觀許君雪景畫，身在傍爐亦覺寒；六出花飛無顏色，清涼世界情盎然”。此件拍品器型小巧雅緻，瓶頸部略有小損，瓶身畫面遠承宋人造景取勢之長，巧妙地將粉彩玻璃白運用於雪景山水之中，畫面濃淡相宜，雪色逼真，層次有度，是何許人相當具有代表性的作品，更是一件不可多得的案頭小品。
