Its large size suggests the possibility that it was not meant for fingers, but rather to be worn on the toes or even as pendants. Its association with luck, fertility and prosperity is meant to convey good fortune to its wearer.Apart from being used as jewellry, flat bezelled rings may also have served as personal seals or forms of identification.
