A gold earringposed of a gold disc with central cell bearing a floral designposed of seven pearl beads and central pink carnelian bead, contrasted against a pale blue-greenposition field; series of loops bordering the cell, seven loops to the perimeter below, each suspending a pearl bead with an additional polished garnet bead to the central dangle; scalloped plaque with ogival apex above, set with a central polished garnet cabochon, short length of chain terminating in a hooked plaque; reverse of body decorated with a flowering plant. 8.41 grams, 83 mm (3 1/4 in.). Acquired between 1980-1990. Property of a London gentleman.
