A mixed group of beehive type thimblesprising: one dated c.1500-1650, possibly lathe-finished; one dated 16th-17th century, similar to Holmes type B; one dated c.1400-1550 covered in thick indentations; a 17th century or later example with deep rim. Portable Antiquities Scheme report numbers: DENO-2E8377; DENO-9C214C; DENO-0B0ACB. 30.5 grams total, 17-25 mm (5/8 - 1 in.). Found Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, UK, by Ken Burrell whilst searching with a metal detector, since 2010.
