An iron door knocker in the form of a stylised snake,posed of a rectangular-section body tapering towards a coiled tail, raised hoods over the eyes, scooped muzzle, open mouth with protruding tongue, body scales expressed as incised diagonal hatching; transverse bar through tail with articulate tapering arm to each side. 537 grams, 22 cm (8 5/8 in.).
