A CELADON AND RUSSET JADE FIGURE OF A BOY RIDING A DRAGON-CARP, 17TH-18TH CENTURY China. The youth clutching the beast's horn with one hand and grasping his billowing scarf with the other. The dragon fish with large bulging eyes, neatly incised scales, sharp teeth, and wings. The translucent stone of a fine celadon tone with russet veining and areas of dark brown.

Provenance: An old English private collection, thence by descent in the same family. Old label to wood stand, 'Boy on dolphin, circa 1670 Kang Hsi, 36 […]'
Condition: Good condition with some old wear, the tailfin with a small loss, minor nicks here and there. The stone with natural inclusions and fissures, some of which may have developed into small hairline cracks over time.

十七至十八世紀青玉留皮童子龍魚擺件
中國，精琢魚化龍，身騎童子，場面歡快，寓意狀元及第。青玉留皮，赤褐色紋理，玉質上乘，包漿瑩潤。

來源：英國私人老收藏，保存在同一家族至今。木底座上舊標籤“Boy on dolphin, circa 1670 Kang Hsi, 36 […]”（童子騎海豚，大約1670年康熙，36）。
品相：狀況良好，有一些磨損，魚尾有小缺損，很多輕微的劃痕。天然內沁和裂縫的玉料，隨著時間的推移，其中一些可能已經發展成細小的細裂縫。
