A SUPERB JIAN 'HARE'S FUR' TEA BOWL, SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY China, 1127-1279. The well-potted bowl is covered inside and out with a lustrous black glaze finely streaked with russet 'hare's fur' markings that stops irregularly above the foot, exposing the chocolate-brown body, and building numerous glaze drops, some of spectacular size and color.

Provenance: From the collection of an important German scholar, assembled between 1961 and 1966, and thence by descent in the same family. An old collector's inventory label to the base reading '58'.
Condition: Good condition overall, commensurate with age, with some old wear and minor manufacturing flaws, such as slight warping, shallow surface scratches, the rim with few very small chips and associated old fills.

南宋建窯兔毫盞
中國，1127-1279年。侈口，深腹壁，小圈足，器內口沿下有一道淺凹槽。胎骨厚重，施罩黑釉，釉色濃稠，帶有流動性，器外壁施釉不及底，釉層上薄下厚，口沿呈現赭褐色“褐口邊”，外底邊有積釉流淌的垂釉痕跡，釉表帶黃色條縷絲紋，類似野兔毫毛。

來源：德國重要學者舊藏，收藏建於1961 至1966年間，自此保存在同一家族至今。底部收藏舊標籤上“58”。
品相：總體而言品相良好，有一些磨損和輕微的製造缺陷，如翹曲、表面劃痕、邊緣上有磕損和相應的修補。
