A SALMON GROUND EMBROIDERED 'DRAGON' ROBE, QING DYNASTY China, early 18^th century. Finely embroidered in gilt brocade with eight five-clawed dragons amidst scrolling clouds and bats, the central dragon on the front and back depicted fully frontal encircling a flaming pearl, with attendant dragons below and on the shoulders, all above crashing waves, lishui bands, and auspicious symbols, with five original buttons, and dark blue linen padding.

Provenance: French trade.
Condition: Fine condition with old wear, some soiling and few spots, minor losses, loose threads to hems and gold brocade, the colors fairly well preserved, the silk with a good luster. Possibly some re-fitting work made a long time ago.

清代紅地刺綉龍袍
中國，十八世紀初。龍袍面為紅地五爪彩雲金龍紋，間有蝙蝠紋與其他吉祥紋，下擺江崖麗水紋。五個紐扣，深藍色内襯。

來源：法國古玩交易。
品相：留有歲月的痕跡，有污漬和黑點、輕微缺損、下襬絲和金線鬆散，色澤保存較好，絲綢光澤好。可能是做的一些改裝。
