AN IMPERIAL EMBROIDERED SILK HANGING, LATE QING PERIOD
China, 1820-1900. Woven with a five-clawed, front facing dragon above two confronting dragons chasing magical pearls, surrounded by lingzhi clouds, shou medallions, bats, and bajixiang symbols, all above a yellow silk ground, the design mirrored on the other half. The ends each with lishui stripe, crashing waves, and terrestrial diagram.
Provenance: Swiss private collection.
Condition: Very good condition with minor old wear, the colors possibly very slightly faded, few loose threads, traces of usage and age, little soiling.

品相:狀況極好,有輕微的磨損和褪色,少量鬆散的線,使用痕跡,輕微污漬。
