Large 19th century Obadiah Rich silver pedestal base pitcher with beautiful respousse floral, fruit, insect, and bird depictions to body of vessel. Grape cluster motif to handle terminating in a single paw foot. Stamped to underside, "O.Rich Boston Fine". Total approx. weight is 55.06 troy oz (gross). From a Brooklyn, NY estate. Dimensions: pitcher measures approx. 16.25" high. Condition: Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents. Possible remnants of oldvarnish that has deteriorated in areas and is discolored in other areas.
