A large collection of Meissen Marcolini porcelain tableware, all pieces marked, ca. 1785, 29 pieces All items are hand-decorated with bouquets of flowers, containing: - A large pair of Meissen oval two-handled tureens and covers on matching stands, the edges of the stands with Osier relief decoration, the finals with putti spilling cornucopia and the handles with rococo scrolls, asparagus and cauliflower, with blue crossed swords and star marks, the stands with impressed former s mark, ca. 1785, H 31,5 - W 40 cm - A smaller matching set of three two-handled tureens and covers on matching stands, including one extra stand, with blue crossed swords and star marks, ca. 1785, H 18,5 - W 34 cm - A collection of 23 soup dishes, of which 20 pieces with an Osier relief decoration, with blue crossed swords and star marks, 1780-1790, ø 22,5 cm Provenance: acquired in the Fine Continental Porcelain sale of Christie s, 6 February 1978, lot 158 (the large pair of Tureens) and 159 (the three smaller tureens).品相报告: - the three smaller tureens on platters in rather a poor condition: one set in good condition (apart from a hairline to the cover), the other two with damaged covers, and one completely broken stand.- the large pair of tureens: one of the side handles of the tureens with a small repair- some usual chips to the flower relief decoration on top of the covers of the tureens- the three soup dishes without Osier decoration: one with a restored rim damage- the 20 dishes with Osier decoration appear in our opinion in good condition- Furthermore, the rest of the collection appears in our opinion in rather good condition.
