Ca. 200-300 ADA large terracotta storage amphora with a large bulbous-shaped body with knob finial, and a flaring neck with two identical handles protruding from both sides. Most likely from the region surrounding the Holy Lands. An excellent and large example of pottery. Supplied with a display stand. Pottery was manufactured in large quantities in ancient Rome, mostly for utilitarian purposes. It is found all over the former Roman Empire and beyond.
