Ca. 100-300 ADA lovely terracotta oil lamp with a columnar projection that ends in a nicely detailed swan head. The space under the bird's bent neck creates perforation that allows the lamp to be hung, or alternatively, the lamp can stand on short, but sturdy legs. The pear-shaped body of the lamp has a rounded wick spout and a filling hole.Size: L:150mm / W:60mm ; 110gProvenance: Ex. WB Collection (1895-1973), Rhineland, in Germany since before 1960.
