Important rococo style scene elaborated with a palette of pastel colours representing a small architectural wall in the middle of a natural landscape. Four figures stand out in particular, a fawn and a bird of prey on the ground, and a dog in a playful attitude with a bird which takes flight from the edge of a plinth. Next to them, a shotgun rests on the wall, as well as a bag that would accompany its owner during the hunting activity. It is worth noting the hand of the artist who, with great detail and quality, has worked on each of the elements, working on the realism and naturalism of each one of them. The genre of painting during the 18th century brought a large number of novelties that contributed to aesthetic innovation. Moreover, it was in this century that painters were increasingly recognised and compared with the figure of the literati, as they achieved an aesthetic revolution in painting that began to be elusive with the rules of the Academy in order to seek new forms, highlighting landscape and still life. It was a period in which the new generations sought to confront the pessimism of the 17th century in order to seek joy and happiness through decorative taste and the satisfaction of the visual sense.
