Small Laguna Shadow Agate "Split" Geode with Drusy InteriorEstacion Ojo Laguna, Ahumada Municipality, Chihuahua, Mexico A small agate "split" showing brown and ochre matrix on the outer edge surrounding the concentric banding in various shades of lavender with a core drusy interior. When moving these agates back and forth under a strong light source, an optical effect of shadow flowing across the concentric banding can be observed.
