A pair of Chinese wood figurines. dated to Late Qing Dynasty ,One figure, Liuhai, steps forward holding a large Chinese coin in one hand, and steps on a toad with her left leg. The other also steps forward and has a very tall vase in front of her. Each on a red pedestal with flower relief carving on the sides.H. 9 1/4" (23.5 cm)Condition: both in good condition overall for age and use, with wear to the wood and gilding on the figures.
