碧綠玉色，局部得見白色沁斑，以整塊玉料圓雕琢制立牛。玉牛低頭拱背，兩目圓睜、雙角高舉、四足貼地，身軀微微後傾，肌肉圓鼓飽滿，狀似蓄勢待發，寓動於靜。其面部、前肢與後肢均飾有細密的幾何紋樣，排列規整，另玉牛腹部亦剔地浮雕圓鼓的乳丁紋，造型古樸。牛隻力大無窮，自古以來便是先民崇拜的對象，且因漢人以農業立國，早於四千餘年前已知牛耕，牛隻的多寡更是與國家富足息息相關，故於商周以降成為常見動物玉雕的主題之一。參閱 香港嘉德，2016/5/31，Lot744《漢玉牛》，寬6.5公分，成交價HK 3,186,000
