C106g71 is consistent with the dating of this lot.獸面凸起，頭頂雙角，雙目圓睜，鼻呈如意形，口大張露齒，鬃毛呈圓珠紋一圈，面施綠褐白三彩。此獸面為唐代稱為魌之鎮墓獸，獅頭，鹿角，雙目圓睜，身有雙翼，獸面兩側即頂部開三孔，應為固定於木板之上。其面可參考一件唐代三彩魌頭，見《世界陶瓷全集》，東京，1976年，頁90。本拍品經牛津熱釋光檢測編號C106g71，結果與其斷代相符。
