THREE MOSS AGATE BOTTLES1780-1880; 1850-1900; and 1780-185 The first ofpressed spherical shape, the stone suffused with green and white moss-like inclusions suggestive of clouds or raging waters; the second of rounded spade shape with sloping shoulders, the semi-transparent honey-gray stone with a matrix of attractive swirling green-blue inclusions throughout, the narrow sides with low relief lion-mask fixed-ring handles; the third a large so-called 'floater' bottle of rounded rectangular shape and very well hollowed, the narrow sides very finely carved in relief with lion-mask fixed-ring handles, the semi-transparent stone suffused throughout with moss-like green and gray inclusions. 2 1/4in (5.8cm) high, stopper; 1 15/16in (5.1cm) high, stopper; 2 7/16in (6.4cm) high, stopper (3). 1780-1880、1850-1900、1780-185年 天然藻紋玉髓鼻烟壺三只 Provenance: The first: Christie's New York, 21 March 1989, lot 186 The second: Robert C.
