Well modeled standing on a crescent-shaped plinth, the hands slightly lowered and with clenched fists, the face with a fierce expression marked by large eyes below furrowed brows, beneath a helmet with upturned brim, wearing a high-collared, close-fitting armored tunic with beast-mask sleeve caps, a breastplate fastened with buckled straps, the pleated under-robe gathering at the base revealing pointed boot tips.Provenance: United Kingdom trade.Condition: Some old repairs and touchups as generally expected from Han dynasty excavations. Losses, chips, fissures, and encrustations. Extensive wear to pigments.
