Ca. 3000-2000 BC.A large ceramic vessel with a round-bodied bowl, with a narrow, round mouth and a raised rim. The exterior central register is painted with polychrome zebu bulls with its characteristic humps and curving horns. The shoulder is decorated with a band of fish and a collar is adorned with geometric patterns. This piece has been precisely dated having undergone Thermo Luminescence analysis by Ralf Kotalla, an independent German Laboratory. The samples collected date the piece to the period reflected in its style, whilst also showing no modern trace elements.
