Ca. 1st millennium BC.A highly abstract bronze figure depicted in a standing stance. The figure is comprised of a round, openwork body composed of tightly wound coils, circular openings, and eight grooved ribs to the back. Over the cage-like body, the protome animal head protrudes. The circular hoop behind the neck of the figure makes it wearable as a pendant. Reference: O. W. Muscarella, Bronze and Iron.
