A pair of Chinese famille verte covered jars, dating from the Kangxi period (1661-1722). The curved jar features a green enameled dragon and a multi color phoenix, among multiple clouds. A large flared cover with rounded finial and dragon design on top of each. Leaf stamp within double blue circle on the recessed base of one, just double circle on the other. bothe with ormolu base and ormolu rim for the protection to the rimH. 18 1/2" (47 cm) jar onlyProvenance: estate of Geraldine S.
