耀州窑瓷器作为宋代八大窰系，北方唯一以烧制青瓷为主的代表，其装饰技法主要以剔、刻、划、印较为常见，其中剔、刻工艺为耀州瓷装饰技法的最高等级。此件刻莲花纹大碗，刀法犀利流畅，构图饱满，莲花呈张开怒放状，莲叶以划线装饰表现出荷叶肌理，整体刻划线条挺拔有力。
