款识：“乾隆年製”款 说明：由于清代线香的盛行，宫廷也制作了很多香插、香盘。材质主要有金属、玉质、瓷质等多种。在《活计档》中便有关于“插香盘”的记载“据圆明园来帖内称本月二十二五日，内务府总管海望、太监张玉柱将做得插香盘样二件呈览，奉旨流云不好，着做四片云，钦此。”这说明清代皇帝非常重视香插、香盘的制作，对一些细节的纹饰也有其具体要求。故宫博物院藏有清雍正铜胎画珐琅香插、香盘一套，与本品造型、纹饰皆一致，可资比较。
