此对狮子铜制，神情威武，头大脸阔，鼻孔微张，龇嘴含舌，毛发卷曲有致，镌刻精细，流畅自然。双狮一公一母，皆颈披绣带，系铃铛，四肢劲健，饰螺旋纹，双狮皆脚踏绣球，生动传神，威猛庄严。两狮顾盼相望，镌刻写实，神态活现。因“狮”与“事”、“嗣”谐音，所以历史中常以象征着“事事如意”的双狮并行，古代的官衙庙堂、豪门巨宅大门前，都摆放一对石狮子用以镇宅护卫。古人又以大狮小狮谐称“太师少师”，祈愿荣登三公高位，官运亨通。
