Description A LOT WITH TWO CERAMIC VESSELSChina, Song Dynasty (960-1279) to Qing dynasty (1644-1912). Comprising a celadon bowl dated to the Song Dynasty and a Cizhou-style jar of later date. The bowl rising from a short foot to deep rounded sides, slightly ribbed to the exterior, covered overall in a thick celadon glaze suffused with a dense network of crackles. The jar of cylindrical form with straight neck, the sides slightly convex, freely painted in dark brown over a creamy-white ground with floral sprays. The foot left unglazed to reveal the buff ware.Condition: Good condition, minor wear, and firing flaws, the jar with few minuscule glaze flakes.Provenance: Hungarian private collection.Weight: 575 g and 1,117 gDimensions: Diameter (bowl) 20.2 cm, height (jar) 15.5 cm
