The baluster body rising from a splayed foot to a waisted neck molded with a bamboo groove, painted in gold with a phoenix standing on a craggy rock amid a flowering peony, lingzhi and a tree within an ornated border all against a coral ground.Provenance: Holzapfel collection, Geneva, Switzerland. This lot was acquired by second generation members of the Holzapfel family after 1990 and has remained in the family ever since.Condition: Good condition with some wear, a hairline and crack to the interior and exterior, a repair to the underside, and manufacturing flaws.Weight: 668.9 gDimensions: Height 25.5 cm
