Description A WUCAI 'FLORAL' DISH, QING DYNASTYChina, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). The dish with shallow sides and lobed rim, finely painted in underglaze blue, emerald-green, aubergine, iron red, and gold, with floral sprays surrounding the central peony design, the exterior with auspicious symbols and a double circle line around the foot. The recessed base inscribed in underglaze blue 'Chang ming fu gui' which is a wish for long life, riches, and honor.Condition: Very good condition, minor wear to the enamels, and manufacturing flaws including glaze recesses, and a firing crack.Provenance: French private collection, acquired from a German private collection.Weight: 125 gDimensions: Diameter 12.8 cm
