Description A LARGE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN TRIPOD CENSER, c. 1920sChina, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic Period (1912-1949). Sturdily potted, the globular body flanked by upright curved and pierced handles, supported on three stoutly rounded cabriole legs, painted in underglaze blue with two confronting dragons chasing the flaming pearl amid scrolling clouds, the neck painted with a ruyi border, the rim with a wave patter, the legs decorated with bats in clouds, and the handles with key fret and scrolling vines.Condition: Very good condition, minor wear, light surface scratches.Provenance: French private collection, Paris.Weight: 3,450 gDimensions: Height 29.6 cm
