Description A BRONZE KARTIKA FLAYING KNIFE, 19th CENTURYTibet, 19th century. Cast in bronze with chased details of a mythical elephant crowned with the six ribbed and domed top and a double lotus vajra. The iron damascened curved blade is decorated with a copper mythical mask amid scroll work, the handle cast as a massive, eight-pointed half-vajra, with decor of lotus petals in high relief.Condition: Good condition with traces of wear and use as well as casting irregularities.Provenance: Austrian private collection.Weight: 518 gDimensions: Height 14 cm
