Description A GOLD LACQUER FIVE-CASE INRO WITH TSUZUMI, EDOJapan, 19th century, Edo period (1615-1868). Of upright, rounded rectangular form, bearing a kinji ground with gold, black and colored hiramaki-e, depicting a tsuzumi drum, a fan and a hat amid prunus blossoms. The interior with a nashiji ground.
