Ca. 350-300 BC. A metallic black glazed pottery handled oil bottle having a tapered bulbous body, high angular handle, and pour spout, stylized lion head lugs at the sides of the channel spout. Polychrome painted leafy vine decoration with a central flower. Upper and lower bands of Greek wave, dot, and tongue patterns. Beautifully decorated example.
