Warren MacKenzie (American, 1924-2018). Miniature studio pottery ceramic tazza. Glazed stoneware. Double stamped along the underside of the dish.Warren MacKenzie was a renowned Minnesota studio potter. A student of Bernard Leach and Shoji Hamada, he is credited with bringing the functional Mingei tradition to the United States, and spreading it through his own art and mentorship of students during his long tenure at the University of Minnesota.Height: 3 1/4 in x diameter: 6 3/4 in.品相报告: The tazza is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or losses.
