Inscribed "Meissner & Conway Builders - 1912" along the lower left, "White Eagle" along the lower middle, and "Westhall Studio Union Hill, N.J." along the lower right.Edwin B. Meissner was president of the St. Louis Aircraft Corporation, a division of the St. Louis Car Company.
