THREE FAMILLE ROSE MARIEBURG STYLE WINE COOLERS Qianlong period, circa 1765 Comprising a matched pair and a single of very similar type, each of deep opening-bud form with scalloped petal rims, both painted with loose composite flower sprays around the waisted body and above relief molded rocaille or large leafy decoration around the lower section and painted with further loose flower sprays surround by iron-red and gilt highlights that silhouette them and emphasize the molding, branch handles centered by a shell rise to the sides, the lobed spreading feet painted with spearheads on one and a linked chain on the other, the third similarly painted but with the addition of flower festoons around the scalloped rim and a band of bamboo and flowers the the spreading foot and the interior rim. 11 1/2in (29.3cm) across the handles (3).
