Early Qing Dynasty|Each of the raised circular panels with applied decoration of pine, bamboo and prunus issuing from craggy rockwork, with two butterflies alighting amidst the blossoms and a parrot perched on a branch, all on a reticulated cash motif ground, the gently rounded, short sides with a combed motif and applied fish, sea-shells and three legged toads, the cover with a further reticulated motif, the handle shaped as a leaping carp, the spout emerging from a dragon's open maw.|13cm (5 1/8in) high (2).|Provenance: purchased at Gray's Antique Market on 8 November 1984 (collector's note).
